The Natrona County Weed and Pest is one of 23 districts in the state of Wyoming. We have been in existence since the late 1960's. The Wyoming Weed and Pest Act of 1973 made it mandatory that each county shall have a Weed and Pest District whose jobs are to "control designated noxious weeds and pests".
The Natrona County Weed and Pest Control District uses an Integrated Pest Management approach which includes ALL types of control: Prevention, Education, Biological, Cultural, Mechanical and Chemical controls.
